Onefest  just received the “Innovationspreis 2008″ by Germany’s Ministry of Culture Mr. Bernd Neumann himself. We wish to thank the jury and especially Mr. Freyermuth for the unbelievable laudatio,  Mr. Tobsing and the BKM for the perfect organization and the Stiftung Deutsche Kinemathek for being such a kind host.

The Award is endowed with 25T € which are going to be invested in the site’s prototype development.

NIEMAND LIEBT DICH SO WIE ICH premieres in Greece on April 4 at the 16^th Mediterranean Festival of New Film (Larissa). We thank the festival direction for the invitation and their super kind offer of hospitality.

So many friends voted for NIEMAND LIEBT DICH SO WIE ICH at Hobnox.com over the last week. In only 4 days from 0 to 53 surpassing over 250 other candidates. What an achievement!

Unfortunately no chance against the ambitious competitors who used the complete voting period of three months to gain votes, making it under the top three. A jury will decide End of February. We felicitate the winners!

A nice and ambitious initiative by George Racz. The World Short Film Award is the first and only short film event where the filmmakers and the viewers select together a favorite short film of the year.

We are proud that NIEMAND LIEBT DICH SO WIE ICH was invited to participate in this exclusive competition.

Now the selected Filmmakers will vote and determine the 5 finalists. From March 1 to March 31 the audience will vote and decide who will be bestowed with the first World Short Film Award.

NIEMAND LIEBT DICH SO WIE ICH will have its Swiss premiere at the 44th Solothurn Film Festival. To our pleasure the film will screen together with Silvio Soldini’s GIORNI E NUVOLE.

Screeenings are on Feb. 23 and 25.
